Coach Alan Kipping-Ruane has come from a competitive swimming and running background and is originally from the town of West Chester, Pennsylvania. He is a Pennsylvania States Qualifier and 8x District’s Qualifier in High-School and YMCA Swimming and a 4x NCAA Mid-East Regionals Qualifier. Alan joined the Navy at the age of 18 to become a Rescue Swimmer. He went on to leave the service with an Honorable Discharge and is now attending Pennsylvania State University to purse his B.S. In Kinesiology.
He has been coaching Triathlons since 2009, and has been coaching swimming since the age of 18. He primarily focuses on Sprint, Olympic and Half-Ironman athletes and coaches all running distances including ultra-distances up to 50k. Alan uses his expertise in swimming, running and physical fitness to create speed and motivation for his athletes.
